Uniqlo to Eliminate All Hazardous Chemicals by 2020

Following in Levi’s footsteps, whose pledge against the use of perfluorinated chemicals, or PFCs, came in December, Uniqlo has also promised to completely eliminate the use of PFCs in its production process by 2020.  Greenpeace protests that began in 2011 were the impetus for both retailers’ newfound environmentally friendly commitments.
