New Shoppable Online Mag Ador Holds Up to Its Promise to “Cause Browsiness”

With a new shoppable editorial platform emerging seemingly every week, it takes a sophisticated layout and a high-functioning level of service to stand out.  Ador, which just launched this month, brings great versions of both those features to the table.

AdorA style discovery engine devoted to aggregating the latest runway, editorial, street style, and celeb looks from across the Web, Ador presents a magazine-like platform of shoppable visuals for searching, sharing, and buying.  They also send sale alerts on brands and items you’ve saved, or in their terms, “adored.”

What makes Ador work is volume and attention to detail.  If you can’t find something you want, the team’s editors will hunt it down for you, or send a list of similar items.  With ten thousand images processed daily, linking back to a product catalog of over 7 million items from about 150 retailers, they’re bound to come up with something. In the meantime, there’s a constant influx of fresh looks to check out.

The platform is probably most ideal in desktop form (since there’s a lot to see), but is compatible with both the iPhone and Android, for maximum magazine-style browse-ability on the go.
