We all know to tread carefully when using the term “flesh toned.” Christian Louboutin, however, is making it a little easier to utter the phrase, as it relates to shoes, without veering into politically incorrect territory. The designer is launching a capsule collection of heels meant to match their wearer’s skin and elongate the line of the leg. As such, the Nudes collection runs the skin-toned color spectrum from ivory to chestnut. Nice range, right?
If you can’t find your tone, there’s an app for that. Upload a photo of your foot to Louboutin Shades to match your legs with the right color Pigalle pump. Practical (or, as practical as Louboutins can get) shoes with a techie edge — we love it! The Nudes will be available sometime this month in Louboutin boutiques. And different skin tones though they may be, they’ll all, of course, have the same red sole.
