Gilt Goes Instantaneous With Advanced Mobile Strategy

Gilt Groupe for iPhone

Tired of missing out on wait-listed flash sale items because you didn’t check your email that one time?  No problem — in six weeks, Gilt Groupe will instantly let you know when sold out styles become available.  The flash sale giant is leading the way when it comes to mobile, adding a variety of features that make their appealing iPhone and iPad apps even better.

The company already generates 25% of its revenue through mobile commerce, and with their audience away from their computers on July 4th, Gilt expects that number to spike up to 40%.  In order to better serve this growing group, the company will soon be sending notifications of wait-listed items via push notifications and text.  Even better, they’re adopting consumer-focused strategies more often employed by small, tech-focused start-ups.  Users will soon be able to upload images of themselves — only to the mobile apps — in order to virtually try on clothing.

Hm, and we thought it was all about the Russians when it came to recent flash sale success.  With Gilt’s tightly-focused mobile strategy, we might eat our words.

Hello. Thank you for visiting my page. I was pleased to find out that we were both brought up in Muscle Shoals and attended Wittenberg University (OH). Heading off to that school and becoming a Bulldozer / Grader Operator has assisted me to better adjust staying near the pond. Looking forward to viewing your snapshot as soon as you see our own stack. Kindly give my regards to your parents. Thanks a ton
