Warner Bros. to Launch Gossip Girl Clothing Line

Gossip Girl by Romeo and Juliet Couture

Three forthcoming looks from Gossip Girl by Romeo and Juliet Couture.

In conjunction with Gossip Girl‘s season premiere on September 26th, Warner Bros. will debut a clothing line inspired by the show.  Romeo and Juliet Couture, a label based in Los Angeles, partnered with the production company to create the line.

Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus will sell the clothes inspired by Blake Lively and Leighton Meester’s characters, Serena Van Der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf, respectively.  (Taylor Momsen’s style-addled and troubled role of Jenny Humphrey apparently didn’t make the cut).

It’s not the first time the show has inspired a line (Anna Sui created a collection for Target based on all the main female characters) and Gilt Groupe once curated a boutique themed around the show.  It makes sense that Gossip Girl‘s own production company would finally get in on the action.  Now, would you care to don the TV-inspired chiffon dresses and jumpers?
