This is really smart — Hunter Boots is embracing their utility and launching an app that helps the brand’s enthusiasts coordinate outdoor pursuits. While keeping track of festival updates and attendant weather conditions, the program also lets users tag important activity-related details, like where they left their car or tent.
The app has a social side, too, encouraging participation through publicly tagging favorite outdoor locales (or the nearest pub), and listing what others have recommended. It’s a great organizational tool rolled into a positive travel review feature. And for a company that specializes in all-weather wellingtons, offering a way to promote outdoor activities, while helping with their execution, is a spot-on extension of the brand’s image.
