Let the Charlie Sheen Merchandising Begin!

In a matter of days, Charlie Sheen has caught the world’s attention thanks to¬† — well, everything from a bizarre interview on ABC’s 20/20 to an equally bizarre intervies with CNN’s Piers Morgan to rants on TMZ — the list goes on. Yesterday, the actor took to Twitter to express himself, tweeting photos and using the hashtags #winning and #TigerBlood. His statements, some of which are listed below, have become instant internet memes and the fodder of late night talk shows.

When asked if he was still using drugs: “I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available because if you try it, you will die. Your face will melt off, and your children will weep over your exploded body.”

When asked if he was afraid of dying: “I got tiger blood man. Dying is for fools.”

Sheen’s break from reality may cost CBS, which subsequently ceased production on the show Two and a Half Men, hundreds of million of dollars. But his delusional, egotistical, and just plain sad comments could spell profits for a growing group of entrepreneurial types. In the past few days, Sheen’s words have (predictably) popped up on custom T-shirts and accessories created on sites like Zazzle, Skreened and CafePress.

You could, for example, give the gift of a “Bi-Winning” apron, a tee with the words “This is me not on drugs, bro.” or even a “Winning!” pink baby onesie.

Granted, once Sheen’s public meltdown ends (and we pray it will soon), will anyone remember the joke?
